Marshall University Social Work Department presents a free virtual screening of A CRIME ON THE BAYOU from Sunday, April 2 through Tuesday, April 4. Guests are welcome to watch the film at their convenience from 12 am ET on Sunday, April 2 through 6 pm ET on Tuesday, April 4. There will also be a post-screening discussion of the film, featuring guest speakers Mr. Gary Duncan (the film's protagonist) and Mr. Lolis Elie (New Orleans born, Los Angeles-based writer and filmmaker), on Tuesday, April 4 from 6 pm ET.

A Crime on the Bayou tells the story of how a Black teenager was arrested for touching a white boy's arm. The unjustly arrested Black man and his young Jewish attorney take the case to the Supreme Court to fight for the right of all Americans to a fair trial.
